Sensation varies; most clients describe brief sharp tugs followed by quick relief. Skilled estheticians use techniques to minimize discomfort, including skin tension and calming products. Consider an over-the-counter pain reliever 30–60 minutes prior if concerned and avoid caffeine before your appointment.

Typically three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and individual differences. With regular waxing, hair often regrows finer and sparser, extending smooth periods. Follow a recommended maintenance schedule to maintain consistent results.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable cotton underwear and loose clothing. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrowns, and use soothing, fragrance-free moisturizers or recommended products to calm skin.

Some irritation or ingrowns can occur, especially with coarse hair or improper care. Our estheticians use correct technique and offer exfoliation and product recommendations to prevent ingrowns. Regular waxing also reduces incidence over time; follow aftercare instructions closely.
