Both methods can suit sensitive skin when performed by trained technicians. Threading avoids chemicals and may be gentler on certain skin types; waxing removes hair from the root but may cause more temporary redness. We'll recommend the best option during your consultation.

Most full-face threading or waxing sessions last 30 to 45 minutes depending on hair density and areas treated. Allow extra time for consultation, skin prep, and post-care advice, especially if this is your first visit.

You may feel brief stinging or pulling, more with waxing than threading for some clients. We use numbing techniques, chilled compresses, and calming serums to reduce discomfort. Communicate during treatment so technicians can adjust pressure and method for your comfort.

Cleanse and avoid heavy creams or makeup before your appointment. Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior and avoid sunburn, tanning, or retinoids for several days. Arrive with hair at least 1/8 inch long for effective threading or waxing.

Maintenance depends on your hair growth—typically every 3 to 6 weeks for waxing and every 2 to 6 weeks for threading. We'll assess your individual cycle and recommend a schedule to maintain smooth results and minimize regrowth between visits.

Ingrown hairs can occur but are less common with proper technique and aftercare. We use hygienic methods and exfoliation guidance, soothing products, and follow-up tips to reduce ingrowns. If prone to ingrown hairs, ask about tailored treatments and post-care routines.
